FC Augsburg – Mainz 05 (tip: double chance X2 / odds 1.65)
Mainz succeeded under the new coach Achim Beierlorzer the turnaround. A 5-1 victory at TSG Hoffenheim was followed on Monday by a 2-1 win over local rivals from Frankfurt. We believe that the Rheinhessen will also score in Augsburg. Whether it will be enough for victory is questionable, because even Augsburg shows improved form and is unbeaten since at least three games. Go for the double chance Mainz.
Bayer Leverkusen – Schalke 04 (tip: both teams to score / odds 1.55)
Interesting in the duel between the Werkself against the Miners: In the last 9 games the host never won. After the success at Bayern Munich a Leverkusen victory is quite conceivable, but we prefer to go to “both teams to score”. An “over-goals” is too tricky, after all, only one of the last four matches ended with at least three goals. We think a 1:1 is very realistic.
Manchester City – Manchester United (tip: Win Man City with HC -1 / odds 1.75)
Lost at West Ham, lost in Newcastle, lost in Bournemouth! Yes, even in Astana United has lost. And then the Red Devils should break something in the Manchester derby? Even though they have recently beaten returnees Mourinho and “his” Spurs 2-1… against the now much more powerful rivals from Man City the team of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will get blown out. And even if Leroy Sané and Sergio Aguero are missing, we believe in a home victory with at least two goals difference.
Sassuolo – Cagliari (Tip: Win Cagliari / odds 2.85)
The Sardinians are the team of the moment in Serie A. In all competitions they are unbeaten 13 games in a row, with some spectacular results (5-2 against Fiorentina, 4-3 against Sampdoria, away victories at the Champions League starters Napoli and Bergamo). The team of Superstar Radja Nainggolan and Joao Pedro have climbed to fourth place of Serie A. Sassuolo, however, won only one of the last six home games and crashed to 14th place. The 2-2 draw at Juve last week-end was worth all honor, but against Cagliari it sets a home defeat.
Werder Bremen – SC Paderborn (Hint: Over 3.5 goals)
Werder and the underdogs from Ostwestfalen will close Bundesliga Matchday 14 on Sunday evening. After the 3-2 victory in Wolfsburg the team of manager Florian Kohfledt are back on track and want to live down for the weak home game against Schalke (1:2). Against the SCP everyone expects a victory for the SVW. The team of Steffen Baumgart is anything but torpedo dangerous, met against the top teams from Munich, Dortmund and Leipzig a whopping 7 times in the net. Paderborn will also be playing against Werder. But: If one knows how offensive football works, then Werder Bremen. Despite the offensive failures Füllkrug and Sargent they will score at least three times against Paderborn.
